A public wall done as a tribute to Le Corbusier’s Chandigarh, in flat blocks of colour taken from the city’s own concrete.
About this project
The mural is an abstract collage paying tribute to the planner of the City Beautiful, Le Corbusier, and to his idea of what the city could be.
It pulls elements from across his work — the buildings, the frescoes, the sketches — and fuses them with motifs that belong to Chandigarh itself.
